Program Highlights

FOUNDATION ASANAS

Yoga asanas introduced in this program are chosen carefully focussing spine mobility enhancement and to upkeep the overall joint health. The methodology of every asana described systematically so as to make every student aware of functional movements and dynamics of bone joint interactions.

PRANAYAMA

Pranayam is controlling your breath. Pranayam is a simple practice of many breathing techniques to promote physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. we have a detailed retreat program to introduce the candidate with the potential of prana harnessing and the benefits that one can derive from Pranayam. Ujjayi breath, alternate nostril breath, and cleansing kriyas are practiced gently during the retreat program. Relationship between breath and accessory muscle is explained and trained to use a full area of lungs.

MEDITATION

For first two days of the course, the concentration techniques are introduced and rest of the day’s students practice to deepen the concentration level of every individual so as to get into the state of dhyana i.e. deep meditation.

We make sure that our student should be capable of sitting in concentration for at least 15 minutes every day on their own i.e. without the help of the instructor.

8:00 — Chanting (kirtans & mantras), Meditation & Concentration Practice

10:00 am – Free time to see Pokhara attractions

01:00 pm – Lunch followed by tea

04:00 pm – Yoga class

08:00 pm – Satsang and kirtan

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Our retreat program payments are pre-contracted. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to book your spot. In any circumstances, the deposited fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable, unless the course is cancelled by the yoga retreat centre.

Vyoma yoga reserves the right to terminate/ expel any participant who is disruptive or abusive to the place, teachers or other participants. In the event of a participants being expelled due to a breach of the rules, their fees stand non-refundable.

Alteration in the program due to circumstances such as landslide, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, and cancellation of flight, delay arrival, sickness or accidents which are not in our control shall not hold Vyoma yoga responsible for change in course plan.
